Refunds

The policy

If you want your money back within fourteen days of buying, email hello@getcappture.com and we will refund you in full. You do not have to say why, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Why we can be relaxed about it

The seven-day trial is the full app. Almost everyone who buys Cappture has already used it for a week, which means refunds are rare and arguing about them would cost more than paying them.

How it works

The refund goes back to the card you paid with, through Stripe, usually within five to ten working days — the timing after that is your bank’s, not ours. Your licence is revoked at the same time, and Cappture returns to its trial state on any Mac it was activated on.

Nothing you captured is touched. Your photos and videos are files on your own Mac, and a refund has no reach into them.

After fourteen days

Write to us anyway. If something is broken, or the app is not what the site led you to expect, we would rather refund you than keep $19.99 you resent paying. This is a judgement we make in your favour more often than not.

Your statutory rights

This policy sits on top of the law, not instead of it. If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU you have a statutory right to cancel a digital purchase, and nothing here reduces it. See the terms for the rest.
